Hello Team 1.
I hope that you are well and keeping safe at home. It was lovely to speak to you all last week and hear about all the different things that you have been doing. I will call you all again next week.
Here is your home learning for this week.
*** Please try and read every day ***
Don't forget that you can upload and share your work with the rest of Team 1.
I have made you all your own file now, so you can add any work, photos or pictures that you want to show me.
These are both great websites if you want to do some extra learning

Why not WOW your grown-ups with your phonic knowledge and show them how good you are at reading?
Spellings
For spelling this week, we will be using the Spelling Shed website to help you to practice and learn your spellings. You will need to login to play the games and you can find your user login in the T1 spelling shed pdf on this page.
Please use only your own details to log in.
Reading
This week I thought that I would read you a story. It is a story that you have heard before and probably know very well, so I expect you to join in whenever you can. Once you have listened to the story, see if you can answer the quiz questions.
How many can you get right?
(click on the link below to listen to the story. It might take a few moments to load)
Writing
The Gruffalo has lots of rhyming words in it. We started looking at poems, rhymes and rhyming words in the classroom. This week I would like you to have a go at the activities below and use the words in the second activity to help you write your own poem.
(Don't forget that you can upload your work into your own file)

Science
The story of the Gruffalo was set in a woodland habitat.
Can you think of an animal that lives in the this habitat?
This week I would like you to find out 5 facts about your animal and write about it.
Don't forget to draw a picture of your animal in its natural habitat.
