Learning for week beginning 20.04.20

Hello Team 1

**Update**

If you want to do any additional daily learning activities, visit www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize

Don’t forget that you can share pictures, work or stories with the rest of Team 1.  Just click on the small star under the class pages.

(**Well done to Fatima and Maryam - your maths work is fantastic!**)

I have given you all of your home learning at the same time again so that you and your grown-up can do it at the best time for you.

You do not have to do it all, but try and do a little bit each day.

Reading

There are 14 activities on the power point presentation - you don't have to do them all.

Choose 1 or 2 to do with a grown up each day.

Writing

If you click on the link you will find lots of pages of writing prompts asking you some weird and wonderful questions!   Choose 1 to write about.  Remember to use your neatest writing, capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.  Can you use connecting words like; and, because, so?  Try to use some interesting and WOW words.

Why not upload your finished work onto our class page?

Spelling

Remember  - learn and practice 10 new spellings this week

Maths

It is important that you carry on counting in 1’s, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s; forwards and backwards from 0 to 100.  Please start writing your numbers to 20 in words too.

I have not set any tasks on MyMaths this week.  I would like you to do these in your work books instead.

Science

Watch the video about habitats.

Then I would like you to think of a different animal and the habitat in which they live.  Can you draw a picture of your animal in their natural habitat and write some sentences to say why they live there.

Remember, you don’t have to do it all.  Just try and do a little bit every day.

Take care and stay indoors
