What a start to this year's residential.

The children have had an amazing start, challenging themselves to reach the top or set a personal best on the climbing wall.

They then went into the woodland to develop being 'survivors'.  During this they broke into four teams and attempted to create a waterproof and wind resistant shelter, before using a flint to spark a piece of cotton and create fire.

They had a good meal which consisted of a variety of options.

Before heading back out for our evening activity, we sang songs, learnt a dance routine and roasted marshmallows over the fire.  I think this was Mr Bourdillon's favourite part of the day!
